Whose Will will it be?

Day 4 | Dealing with Uncertainty - Whose Will will it be?
“Sometimes God’s will does not look or feel like the easiest or most popular path.”
We learnt about what willful uncertainty is, an uncertainty with the who.
It happens when we choose not to believe in God. E.g. Lot not choosing God’s promised land but choosing a seemingly more comfortable life that God had not led him to. This is the most serious kind of uncertainty we will have to work through because we might end up rejecting God’s purposes for our lives if we do not deal with it.
Sometimes God’s will does not look or feel like the easiest or most popular path. Jesus demonstrates the struggle of surrendering His will to differ to God’s will in the garden of Gethsemane right before His crucifixion.
Luke 22:41-43 NIV
41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.
Is there an area that you are struggling with willful uncertainty? Pray and struggle through with God about it.
