You’re not the Only One

The Life of Abraham: Living Out God’s Story | Certainty in Uncertainty
Bible Reference: Genesis 15:1-21

Day 3 | Dealing with Uncertainty - You’re not the Only One

Having uncertainty is not a sin. It is an opportunity for greater faith.

All believers face uncertainty in their journey of faith.

Abram was in a place of uncertainty because of a lack of visible progress in his life. We all have reasons for our uncertainties, but we have to understand that being uncertain does not make us bad Christians. Sometimes we have to come to terms with not having any answers. E.g Job and Abraham. Facing our uncertainty is the first step in us finding certainty. We cannot resolve what we ignore.

Having uncertainty is not a sin.

It is an opportunity for greater faith, as we see how people in God’s Word learn to overcome their doubt.

Mark 9:23-24 NIV

23 “‘If you can?’” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
