How can it be?

Day 5 | Dealing with Uncertainty - How can it be?
We learnt about logical uncertainty- uncertainty with the how.
This happens not because we do not want to believe, but we struggle with how God might carry out His plans. If we don’t learn to deal with our logical uncertainties, it is likely that we will try to make things happen in our own strength, like Sarai did.
“The responsibility for us is to trust God to receive His promise for us and then trust God through the process.”
Luke 1:34-35,38
34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God... 38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
Often God’s promises seem impossible to achieve – the responsibility for us is to trust God to receive His promise for us and then trust God through the process, just like Mary learnt to do when she received an impossible promise from God. We often are more like Abram and Sarai , receiving God’s promise gladly at first, but tiring out from the process of waiting and enduring. May God give you strength and perseverance to keep having faith after receiving His promises for your life.
