Day 7 | Dealing with Uncertainty - God is With You

“The Holy Spirit is here to help you find certainty in your uncertainty.”

You are not alone in your uncertainty.

Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield, your reward will be very great."

God shows up to assure Abram in his uncertainty. Just like how God ministers to Abram’s uncertainty, it is helpful to know that the Holy Spirit will always be with you. He is here to help you find certainty in your uncertainty.

The enemy will always try to convince us that we are left alone to fend for ourselves, but God’s word tells us this basic truth that Jesus teaches us:

John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever…

Whatever you are going through, God is beside you. King David made this observation in his song to God:

Psalms 139:7-10

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
    Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
    if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
    your right hand will hold me fast.

There’s nowhere we can go, where God is not with us. May you be encouraged to take this moment to recognize His presence with you and worship Him wherever you are.
