Day 1 | Dealing with Uncertainty - Suffering through Seasons

After an intense battle to save his nephew, Abram finds himself in a quiet place wrestling with his own uncertainty concerning God’s promises for his life.

“Each season of life is crafted by God’s hand for your development in Him, according to His plan.”

As much as we long for consistency in life, life is truly rarely consistent. With it comes seasons- summer, spring, autumn, winter- as mirrored in nature. When things are moving quickly or as expected, it is easy to feel secure about God and His purposes for our lives; however when life seems to be on pause, or not on our schedule, trusting God can feel quite challenging.

Even though it is easy to feel discouraged, it could be that this is a point in your life where God is working on you, rather than through you. Each season of life is crafted by God’s hand for your development in Him, according to His plan.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

Let’s take some time to converse with God about where you are right now in your life. Request for Him to speak with you, just like he spoke with Abram. What is He doing in your life right now?
