Day 42 | Prayer Partner - God Raises Sons not Slaves
Genesis 18:16-17
The men got up from there and looked out over Sodom, and Abraham was walking with them to see them off. 17 Then the LORD said, “Should I hide what I am about to do from Abraham?"
“God’s heart toward His children is a Father’s heart. He is interested in raising children, not slaves. ”
Luke 3:38
Kenan was the son of Enosh. Enosh was the son of Seth. Seth was the son of Adam. Adam was the son of God.
Since the beginning, God created us to be His sons & daughters. God’s heart toward His children is a Father’s heart. He is interested in raising children, not slaves. He gives us a place of honor – not dishonour - beside Him because of His love and goodness toward us. He shares a part of His authority and His resources with us. We are highly favoured.
Galatians 4:7
Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are His child, God has made you His heir.
Romans 8:17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.
