Day 17 | Don’t Push It - Confusion

“It is hard to trust God and walk in His plan when you are bitter and confused about who God is.”

Gen 16:2

2 Sarai said to Abram, “Since the LORD has prevented me from bearing children, go to my slave; perhaps through her I can build a family.”

Sarai mistook God’s answer of “later” for a “no”, and as a result she made a decision that would negatively affect many, due to her confusion, and perhaps, bitterness about God’s plan for her life.

Are you unhappy with some of the issues that you have gone through and blamed God for it, like Sarai, did? It is hard to trust God and walk in His plan when you are bitter and confused about who God is. Instead of making a decision based on such emotions, be encouraged to open your heart to God and work out your relationship with Him, and from a place of peace and faith, make your next move.
